An incomplete copper-alloy mount of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1500 - 1700AD. The mount is lozenge-shaped with a smaller lozenge panel applied to the centre of the upper surface. The reverse is flat, undecorated with two attachment spikes visible. The metal has a dark green patina and is worn. The length is 21mm, the width is 26mm thickness and the weight 5.19g.
