Pale brown flint lithic implement. A thick long flake with long parallel narrow flakes struck from its dorsal side, and with an undulating ventral surface with small bulb and platform at one end. Short abrupt retouch executed from the dorsal aspect follows one long edge and follows it round to a rounded end. Handling the object might suggest it was intended for a left-handed user, or as a combined scraper and serrated implement, the former appearing at the rounded end. Creamy patina suggests the object has endured exposure to a calcareous environment after its deposition. Suggested date: Late Mesolithic, 7000-4000 BC.
