Copper-alloy finger ring of late Medieval to early Post-Medieval date, c. 1400 - 1550. The ring is incomplete and is missing the lower band portion.
What remains is the oval shaped flat bezel with incised decoration in the form of a seal. The tapers in thickness from the oval bezel to the shoulders and thins toward the lower band. The band is oval in cross section.
The incised design shows the letters I P with a branch between them, within an oval border.
The patina is dark green.
