A Post Medieval C16-18th, crudely cast, lead alloy, medium size, circular and flat, uniface token. The Powell 32-type classification system for leaden token and tallies type 2. Obverse: initials 'IP'.Note: The letter I could represent a 'J' before C17th. Reverse: blank. Little wear - very fine condition. One casting sprue remnant at the 12 o'clock position this is more visible on the blank reverse. Slightly buckled/distorted by agricultural machinery, otherwise a matt pale grey surface. This is likely to date to 1500-1799. Ref.
