Distorted medieval double-looped buckle frame, both loops rectangular, and both outside edges with baluster mouldings are bent, narrow central bar, pin missing. Length 36-7mm. Width 38.5mm. 15th century.
A comparable example from London was dated to the middle of the 13th century. (Fingerlin 1971, Abb. 44 Kat. Nr. 292), and another similar piece to c.1450 - c.1600 (Whitehead 2003 no. 477).
