Five body sherds of a medieval sandy ware with numerous small to medium flint and/or chalk inclusions. Lorraine Mepham (Wessex Archaeology) comments '[they] are probably something in the Kennet Valley tradition. Date range probably somewhere between the 11th and 13th century'.
The sherds collectively weigh 52.11g. The largest measures 59.3x50.2x9.5mm and the smallest 18.0x15.2x6.8mm. All are a darkish brown in colour with orange oxidation patches.
