An incomplete Medieval bichrome, glazed ceramic floor tile dating to the 14th century. Similar to Eames design No.1504 & 1505 an example in the catalogue is no.1504 and 208 . The remaining tile consists of one corner with part of a shied with two lions passant. The tile is a highly fired, bright red ceramic.
