An incomplete copper-alloy oval frame buckle with narrowed offset bars. The pin and bar is missing. The frame is triangluar in section and has been decorated with molded curvilinear motifs. There are very small flecks of gilding surviving on the molded decoration.

Dates to the medieval period, AD 1150-1450. Similar to PAS record SF-3AE714 and Egan and Pritchard. 1991. Dress Accessories: medieval finds from excavations in London. Museum of London. Page 70, No. 271 and 277
