An incomplete copper alloy brooch. An initial T-shaped brooch. Only the wings, head, partial bow and head of the hinged pin remain. The wings are cylindrical and house the axis bar for the hinged pin mechanism. The expanded head of the pin is still attached to the remnant of the axis bar. The fronts of the wings are decorated with two knurled ridges on either side of the bow. The tapering bow extends downwards from the centre of the wings and is D-shaped in cross section. The bow is decorated with longitudinal, flanking knurled ridges, extending to the break, and a central longitudinal ridge extending part way dow the bow only.
