Lead and iron steelyard weight of uncertain date within the probable date range c. 43 - 1750 AD. The weight is conical in form, with a sunken circular depression in the bottom face. An orange iron tang with an oval section which protrudes from the top of the weight is all that remains of the suspension loop. The object is dark brown in colour. It is 27.17mm in height and 21.67mm at maximum width. It weighs 71.67g.

There are many similar examples recorded on the database, including: NARC-1D2E44, WMID-4538B5 and PUBLIC-DE3998. It is unfortunately not possible to assign a more precise date range to this object; examples from dated contexts range from the Roman period to the modern day.
