Flint possible backed blade fragment. A thin flake with broad parallel flakes struck from its dorsal side and with very slightly concave ventral surface. A straight flat surface opposite the curved putative cutting edge may have permitted pressure to be brought to bear on it. Dense creamy patina suggests it has endured prolonged exposure to a calcareous environment after its deposition. Suggested date: Neolithic, 4000-2350 BC.
