A copper alloy Romam coin; a sestertius of Septimius Severus (AD 193 - 211), dating from AD 193 (Reece Period 10). VICT AVG TR P COS, S C reverse type depicting Victory advancing left holding wreath and palm. Mint of Rome. Compare RIC 656 and Sear Volume II number 6441 on page 475. The coin is 29.4mm diameter, 4.3mm thick and 19.7g.
