Copper alloy vessel fragment. Cast cauldron leg fragment, probably from a leg appearing triangular in profile with a central longitudinal rib and sides which converged towards an everted foot. Very thick soot encrusts the display face in particular, and appears to intrude across the broken upper end of the leg, suggesting the continuing use of an old vessel despite developing cracks and flaws. Suggested date: Medieval, 1200-1500.
