Copper alloy ring. Cast ring of almost round section, retaining traces of casting flash around about half its internal circumference and with a discernible outer mould line. A distinctively pale creamy patina extends over part of the object. Possibly intended for horse harness, though the remaining flash and pristine condition might hint at its never having been used.
