Two sherds of Oxfordshire colour coated ware. The fabric is fine textured and slightly laminar. The micaceous matrix contains pieces of angular iron ore. There are sparse traces of abraded red slip on the exterior surfaces. One is a rim sherd from a open bowl with a grey-brown core and oxidised orange-brown margins. The rim is flanged and incomplete. The exterior is decorated with bands of rouletting. The other sherd is an undiagnostic body sherd with grey-brown margins and an orange core. Wheel thrown. Abraded.
