A complete silver unit of uninscribed type, probably struck for the Southern Atrebates and Regni from c. 50-20 BC and imitating contental issues. Compares favourably to Bean's type QsT1-6 (Bean 2000, p. 70, fig. 3.8, p. 232), also known as the "Chichester Lyre" type, CCI 18.0567.

Obverse; devolved bust right with crescent-shaped hair curls.

Reverse; horse facing right, pellet in ring above, ring and pellets in front, devolved comb or lyre below.

Similar to other examples on the PAS database PUBLIC-58C3B7, SUR-832149, PUBLIC-6FC686 and HAMP-78A1A6. The distribution of these coins is limited to West Sussex and parts of Hampshire, with several known from Hayling Island. Compares favourably to ADC 650.
