A gold Psuedo-Imperial tremissis of Anastasius I (AD 491-518). Obverse: D N ANASTA-SIVS P F AVC, Diademed and cuirassed bust in paludamentum right, diadem tie disconnected from diadem, star above head. Reverse: VICTORIA AVGVSTORVII, Victory walking right looking left holding wreath and globe cruciger. Mintmark: - *//COIIOƆ. This is probably a Pseudo-Imperial issue from unclear mint, for the official issue of Anastasius from Constantinople cf. MIBE, p.84, no. 12.

Measurements: 15.2mm in diameter, 1.06mm thick and 1.39g in weight.
