Copper coin. Milled coin, possibly a private issue and probably Irish, possibly a halfpenny of /under George III (1760-1820). The rim now stands proud of the flan, and is indented to give a cabled effect on the obverse side only, perhaps signalling conversion of coin to keepsake.
