An incomplete copper alloy unidentifed object of uncertain date, from the Roman to post-medieval periods (AD 43 - 1700). The object is D-shaped in cross-section with a flat reverse and convex front. It is in the form of an oval with an arm of narrowing width projecting from one of the long edges. To the reverse of the oval (12.9x9.8x3.2mm), and slightly off-centre, is a broken (old damge) pyramidal projection c.7mm long, 5.2mm wide and 4.2mm thick. The arm curves in an arc and narrows from 7.6x3.1mm to 3.7x2.5mm at an old break.
The object measures 21.9mm in length, 12.9mm in max.width, 9.7mm in max.depth and weighs 3.88g.
