Semi-translucent grey [appears dark honey coloured under transmitted light] flint with cortex spot, serrated implement, as kindly identified by the finder. Long flake with long narrow parallel bladelets struck from its dorsal side and with a slightly concave ventral surface and a small bulb at its narrower end. Very short abrupt retouch executed from the dorsal aspect follows the opposed straight edges and the curved end. Suggested date: Late Mesolithic, 7000-4000 BC.
