A complete flint Microlith of Mesolithic date (9,000-3,450 BC). The object is sub-rectangular in plan and plano-convex in section. The dorsal surface contains three predominant negative scars. The proximal end has been blunted. The distal end tapers to a point. The proximal, left and right hand edges have fine semi-abrupt retouch. The ventral surface is flat with a single negative scar situated at the distal end.
The flint is cream in colour. There is no retained cortex and the flake is therefore a tertiary flake.
