2 pieces of flint waste flakes (debitage) from flint tool production, likely dating from the early Mesolithic through to the bronze age c. 9000 - 1000BC.
Description: 2 flakes, the smaller of which is a tertiary flake, irregular with a clear bulb of percussion and conchoidal rippling indicative of hard hammer technology. The 2nd is a secondary flake with some patination remaining, roughly rectangular, with subtle bulb of percussion and conchoidal rippling likely from the production of blades or bladelets. Both flints are mottled light grey-brown, although the smaller is lighter with a hint of blue-grey
