A late medieval or post-medieval copper alloy scabbard chape. The chape is formed of two plates of almost identical form. The frontplate is shaped like a wide chevron, with a downward pointed base. The upper edge undulates. Two holes are seen to the left, and one to the right. The edges of the frontplate are angled downwards. The backplate is flat. A small rivet hole is located to either side.
