Copper alloy unidentified object fragment. A cast pin with a rounded end and a D section apparently formed by the rubbing down of one side of an originally round section object. . The shaft is stepped close to its broken upper end, and the notch smoothed by wear. Suggested date: possibly Roman, 43-410.
