Butt end of a broken axe, bifacially knapped, one side is patinated white, the other is less patinated and is mottled grey, both faces have spotty iron stains. The transverse break has been knapped in an (unsuccessful) attempt to reshape this fragment into a much smaller axe. No grinding or polishing noted.
