Pale grey flint debitage fragment. A flake with narrow parallel flakes struck from its dorsal side, but with recent damage which has notched the edge and probably detached the original ventral surface. One long edge is lightly battered. The extent of recent damage is indicated by interruption of a light misty patina arising from a period of exposure to a calcareous environment. Suggested date: Late Mesolithic, 7000-4000 BC.
