An incomplete cast copper-alloy pin probably dating to the Roman period, c. 43-410 AD. Only the head survives, which is anthropomorphic in nature, depicting a human face looking outwards with moulded hair and facial features. The length is 13mm, the width is 11mm and the weight 2.30g. No parallel could be found for this object, though it seems to perhaps belong to Cool group 18 (pins with anthropomorphic heads) (1991).
