Lead metalworking debris. Twelve small fragments of solidified lead melt, including both patinated older pieces and larger grey and presumably more recent fragments. The largest fragment, weighing 25.19gms, has solidified against the straight edge of another object. Another, weighing 5.32gms, has a cruciform figure in moulded relief on its upper side and a flat underside, whether this figure may be adventitious or significant is uncertain. Most of the rest have set on flat surfaces. Suggested date: Unknown, Roman to Post-Medieval, 43-1900.
