A complete Post Medieval cast Lead alloy sub-circular uniface token of Powell Type 2. The token is decorated with a retrograde RI monogram with a circular border on one face and the other is undecorated. The token measures 20.29 mm diameter and is 2.80 mm thick and weighs 5.08 grams. Tokens had a wide variety of uses and were easy to manufacture; they are therefore difficult to date precisely outside of archaeological contexts; those with initials are generally thought to be Post Medieval in date, c.1550-1800 AD.
