An incomplete unidentified copper-alloy object possibly some sort of domestic fitting or buckle plate. The rectangular object is ribbed with two horizontal bands and is thin in profile and tapers slightly. The rolled head curves at 45 degrees away from the body and has been pierced with a hole. It appears Roman in date. Parallels being sought.
