A medieval copper alloy strap end. The body is flat, rectangular and incomplete, and extends to a narrowed concave waist. From this extends a terminal in the form of a cross with each arm ending in a trefoil. The strap end was originally made of two sheets of copper alloy; the second sheet only survives at the cross.
