Silver shilling of Elizabeth I of the first or second issue dating to 1558-61. Obverse has bust of the queen facing left and the legend [ELIZA]BETH D [G ANG FR ET HIB REGINA]. The reverse has a squared shield on long cross fourchée with the legend [POSVI]/D[EV] AD/IVTOR/[EM] M[EV]. The coin is worn with a chipped rim.
