A copper-alloy decorative mount, probably dating to the Roman period. The mount comprises a flat sheet which is crescentic in plan and has a central circular perforation. On the upper surface, it is decorated with marginal triangular notches. It measures 44m in length, a maximum of 13mm in width and 1mm in thickness.
