An incomplete Medieval or post Medieval Copper alloy double looped spectacle buckle dating to the period c. AD 1350 -AD 1650. The pin and one loop are missing. The buckle fragment consists of a broadly oval loop with a transverse, scalloped decorative moulding of five semi-circular projections divided by four grooves. The narrowed and offset strap bar terminate in pointed knops. The buckle measures 19.80 mm in length, 27.56 mm in width and weighs 3.28 grams.

The surface is abraded and powdery with a green-brown patina.
