A complete medieval copper alloy stud or mount dating from c. AD 1350-1400. The mount is domed in the centre, with six flattened petals projecting out around the edge. In the centre of the stud is a circular rivet hole with a seperate rivet contained within. The reverse is concave and hollow. The mount has a dark green patina and measures 14.2mm in diameter, 5.6mm in thickness, and weighs 0.79g.
