A complete copper-alloy coin weight of medieval date, c.AD 1350 - 1550. The weight is circular in plan with a rectangular section. It is unifaced with the worn design consisting of a fleur-de-lis on the upper surface.
The metal has a mid-green patina and is worn. The coin weight is 14.9mm in diameter, 2.3mm thick and weighs 2.6g.
Similar examples are shown in Withers (1995), p.33 in which they are described as being used in England and France for Florins from 1350 - 1550.
