A Post Medieval silver coin; a threepence of Elizabeth I (AD 1558 - 1603), second issue (AD1561 - 1582), probably ermine initial mark, dated 1572. See North (1991) Volume 2, number 1998.. It is 18.7mm in diameter and 0.5mm thick. It weighs 0.81gm. Part of the coin is missing and it is bent.
