Post-medieval black-coated copper alloy double-looped buckle frame, both loops oval, with a lobe at the ends of the bar and a crudely moulded rosette in the centre of the edges. The whole is curved in profile, perhaps through distortion. Some file marks can be seen on the front face. The form is comparable with Whitehead 2003, no. 408. An example from Camber Castle was found in a context dated 1543-1637 (Biddle et al. 2001, 260, fig. 7.2 no. 27). Length 41mm. Width 24mm. c.1550 - c.1650.
