An incomplete, copper alloy, Roman brooch of Wilsford type, AD 100-200.The object comprises the foot and part of the catchplate of the brooch, the upper bow, head and pin are missing. There is a transverse collar just below the break on the bow, below this the bow has a triangular cross section and terminates in a scalloped terminal collar. The object has an even green patina. A similar example can be found in Hattatt 2000 no.1519, fig.161, page 302.
