A fragment of a copper alloy object, possibly from a Medieval stirrup.
Description: The fragment is an irregular rectangle in outline. The thin lower edge is an uneven historical break. The two long parallel edges are even and on a slight curve.

Discussion: The exact ID of this object is uncertain due to wear and completeness. It does however show superficial similiarities to certain types of medieval stirrup such as HESH-C1E542 recorded on this database dating c.1300-1450. Due to the afforementioned condition of the object it is not possible to be certian however.
