An incomplete, post-medieval copper alloy buckle, dated 1600 - 1720. The buckle is double looped with a sub-retangular frame that has rounded edges. the pin is missing. The buckle frame is concave in cross section and narrows to the central cross bar where it is flanked by trefoil mouldings with upturned leaves on either side of the trefoils, The outer edge of each frame is expanded to a rossette which is topped with a knop. The buckle has a dark green patina.
