Copper alloy possible strap fitting. A small round section stud with its end burred by impact, possibly when securing the object from which this projected to a leather strap. The current appearance may suggest this fragment was carried away from a larger parent object while remaining attached to a stout strap, which has now completely decayed. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1700-1900.
