A complete flint Core of Mesolithic date (9,000-5,500 BC). The object is a single platform blade core. The object is sub-triangular with one clear striking platform, the other end tapers to a point while the ventral surface is covered with cortex. There are eleven predominant negative scars with corresponding arrises. One of the scars was produced by hinged flake removal toward the distal end. The scars are long and parallel with a sub-rectangular plan. The proximal end or striking platform is narrow and flat.

The flint is a dark grey in colour with some cream inclusions. The cortex is light brown in colour.
