A complete copper alloy Buckle of Medieval date (AD 1250-1400). The object is a single loop oval buckle with ornate outer edges and narrowed offset strap bar. The frame has four lobed knops dividing three transverse grooves and retains a wire pin.
The metal is a dark green in colour with a slightly pitted patina.
