An incomplete lead alloy Cloth Seal of Medieval or Post Medieval (AD 1450 - 1700). The object is a two piece disc seal, the discs joined by a tab forming a loop and crimped together. One disc is plain. The other is stamped with a chequered shield.
The metal is a dark cream in colour
