An incomplete and worn post-Medieval Irish silver groat of Henry VIII (1509-1547), minted at London. First Harp Issue (1534-1540) bearing the initials of Henry and Anne Boleyn and dating to the period 1534-1535. Initial marks: crown/crown. Spink: 6472.

Obverse: (crown) hEnRI/C VIII/D G [R/AGL] (saltire and double saltire stops); Crowned arms.

Reverse: (crown) FRAnCE [DOMInV]S hIBERnIE (double saltire stops); Crowned harp dividing crowned hA.

Diameter: 23.7mm. Weight: 1.90g. DA=12:9.
