An incomplete copper-alloy Early Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) to Medieval hooked tag, dating to AD 600-1150. It consists of an oval plate which has two attachement circular holes close to one edge and a tapering protrusion on the opposite edge; the latter is all that survives of the hook. The front face is decorated with a series of concentric raised annuli. In the centre of the plate there is a circular hole. The edges are damaged.
It belongs to Read's Class A, Type 2 (2008, as p. 15, no. 62).
