A bent and pierced copper-alloy late Medival to Post-Medieval c. AD 1500- 1651 Rose and Orb jetton. The obverse shows three crowns, alternately with three Fleurs de Lis, arranged centrifugally around an unclear rose. Obverse legend is illegible: [...]V:nC (or) nE[...]. Reverse shows an Imperial orb surmounted by a cross: within an ornamental tressure that has three main arches. Reverse legend is illegible, possibly: [...]E(R or n):M(R or n)EV[...]. These may possibly be ficticious legends. Die axis is uncertain.
The flan has a circular perforation of 2.9mm diameter set 7.8mm in from the edge of the flan.
