Medieval copper alloy composite strap end dating to the period c. AD 1300 - 1450. It consists of two symmetrical sheet metal plates with a forked spcaer in the centre, The forked spacer terminates in a projecting collared knop. The three components are held together by a copper alloy rivet at either end of the sheets. Both rivets sit flush with the surfaces of the plates.
