Medieval lead alloy spindle whorl, Thickness: 8 mm, diameter: 26 mm, weight: 25.85 g.

The whorl is circular in form and biconical in cross section. It has a pronounced ridge on its outer edge and a central hole 8mm in diamter. It is decorated on both faces, one has a row of semi-spherical dots and the otehr a series of almost diagonally placed raised lines. The objects form matches Walter Rogers Type C, which she dates to the Medieval period.
